Replacing and waterproofing water-damaged subfloors and wall structures in slide-outs ensures a strong, durable foundation for your trailer.
In some cases, I have encountered completely water-damaged subfloors in slide-outs. To address this, I replace the subfloor, repair any damaged wall structures, and install new insulation. Starting from scratch, the new subfloor is wrapped in blue skin for complete waterproofing. Then, 3/4″ plywood sheeting is installed and securely fastened, creating a robust and durable subfloor and wall structure capable of smoothly supporting the weight of your furniture and family.
